KAMPALA, UGANDA — 31 August 2026 — The energy is building, the dancers have shown up, and the dance floor is ready. Red Bull Dance Your Style Uganda is heading into its big finale on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at Motiv, Kampala, with free entry for everyone passionate about dance, music, creativity and self-expression.
Over the past week, Red Bull Dance Your Style has been taking the experience directly to Uganda's young creative community, with activations at Makerere University and MUBS, creating spaces for students and dance lovers to connect, express themselves and experience the culture of freestyle dance.

The journey continued on 28 August with the Kampala qualifiers at Somewhere Else, where dancers went head-to-head for a place in the final. The competition follows the signature Red Bull Dance Your Style format: all styles, one-on-one battles and unexpected music — with the crowd deciding who moves forward.

On 29 August, the dancers continued sharpening their skills with a dance workshop led by Verb, bringing learning, movement and creative exchange into the programme.
Now, it all comes down to 5 September.
The national final will bring together the dancers who have earned their place through the qualifiers for an explosive night of freestyle, music and creativity at Motiv. The audience will once again play a central role, deciding who wins each battle and ultimately who takes the national title.

Red Bull Dance Your Style is built around the belief that dance is more than movement — it is a language for individuality, confidence and self-expression. It creates a platform where dancers can bring their own style to the floor, respond to the music in the moment and connect directly with the crowd.
For Uganda's dance community, this is an opportunity to celebrate the people who continue to push the culture forward — from established dancers to emerging talent finding their voice and their style.
